Iran would unveil and demonstrate the world's first Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) drone during its 34th anniversary celebrations, which would be held in February 2013, it has been learnt. The drone is fully equipped with ultra modern technology and is soundless. It does not require runway at all which can take off and land vertically.

According to sources, an Iranian expert was in-charge of the project to manufacture the drone. The drone was manufactured by researchers from Mazandaran Science and Technology Park.
